Delete your account
In the app
- Open Reader's Companion and tap More.
- Choose Account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Your account and all your data are deleted right away.
Without the app
Write to [email protected] from the e-mail address you use to log in to Reader's Companion, with the subject Delete my account. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by e-mail.
If you never created a login with an e-mail address, we cannot find your account from an address – delete it in the app.
What is deleted
- Your account and your e-mail address
- Your books, bookcases and decorations
- Reading sessions, goals, streaks and rewards
- Notes, quotes and photos
- What you put on a reading club's shared bookcase
What we keep
- Purchase records (which product and when) are kept anonymised for 5 years, as Danish bookkeeping law requires.
- Backups are deleted within 35 days.
